Mice Parade - All Roads Lead To Salzburg - CD [BC-035] |
| Those who know Mice Parade know that it started as a one-man recorded project. A full band was formed in March of 2001 for an amazingly successful world tour through the States, Europe and Japan. During the course of this tour the music changed considerably - the structures were loose and the improv was heavy. This CD is intended as a document of this new, smoking live band. Two drumkits, vibraphones, cheng (Chinese harp), old synths and classical guitar combine for a wild fusion of electronica, African beats, jazz and freeform - sometimes challengingly complex, sometimes catchy as hell. Contains tracks recorded at a BBC session, new studio work, and a slew of miscellaneous sections of live recordings, pieces of improvisation that were captured on mini disc. | |
