Mice Parade - Mokoondi - CD/2xLP [BC-033]
	The music of Mokoondi sets itself apart from other Mice Parade releases. Here, the pop hooks of past albums are sacrificed (but not entirely) in favor of extended song development and improvisation. Complex drumbeats groove their way through multi-part adventures, with more of a direct focus on the rhythms and melodies found in the pygmy cultures of the African rainforest. Mokoondi displays a sound that has settled into its own, unique and beautiful, with an adventurous spirit throughout.
